Craftsmanship starts here
Wood is a great material for many projects. It's easy to work with, versatile, and relatively low cost. You can use it for prototyping products that will be made from some other material, or it can be used for finished products.
There are many projects that are completely made of wood, or that can use wood as part of the materials. The possibilities are endless...
In this first-level basic woodworking class, you will learn all about safety and basic woodworking skills to be able to use the following tools: hand saws, electric drills, clamps, circular saw, sliding compound miter saw, panel saw, belt and orbital sanders.
You will perform various operations on all of these machines to become comfortable and proficient with the safe operation of these tools.
Once you successfully pass this class, you can use these tools for your projects whenever you work at OSML as a member.
